Meet The Michele Safford Group

Michele Safford, Group Leader

Michele leads the team and is the mastermind behind all marketing efforts. She conducts all negotiations on contracts. Her management, salesmanship and professional skills make the whole real estate process work for you. Michele started her career as a teacher with a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She spent the last eighteen years as a full time, Top Producer in the real estate industry and is internationally recognized in the Top 1% of all RE/MAX agents globally. Michele and her husband, Brian have been married for 31 years and have three sons and a daughter.

Deborah Thams, Buyer Specialist

Deborah is a licensed realtor, certified as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR). She enjoys working with both buyers and sellers, including first-time buyers and relocation/corporate clients. Prior to entering real estate, Deborah was a manager in the telecommunications industry in the residential customer service area for over 25 years. She graduated with a degree in Psychology from Madonna University. Raised in Plymouth, Deborah currently lives in downtown Farmington.

Marian Grout, Buyer Specialist

Marian is a licensed Realtor whose passion is helping people reach their goals of buying or selling a home. With over 18 years of experience in the industry, her professionalism and customer service will assure you receive the best care possible. After graduating from college, Marian’s career began in the Hospitality Industry, eventually becoming the Director of Sales and Marketing. This position provided her the opportunity to move to several states, including Michigan, where she met her husband, Paul. Marian and Paul have been married for 21 years and have two daughters and a son.

Shalease Brown, Client Care Manager

Shalease is responsible for handling all aspects of client relations from feedback and listing questions to the entire closing process. Shalease has over 16 years of Customer Service experience and currently lives in Dearborn Heights with her two sons.
